Second Scientix National Conference in Poland: “Good practices in STEM”

The main objective of the Second Scientix National Conference in Poland is to present practically many innovative solutions in the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), as well as to integrate teachers of mathematics and natural sciences. STEM teachers are invited to participate in two plenary sessions, with one session dedicated to Scientix and its opportunities.

Additionally, three sessions with sixteen parallel workshops are organised as part of this conference. They are dedicated to various public STEM initiatives and projects, in which products are freely available for teachers. Representatives of those projects have the opportunity to present their products in the form of workshops, which enable the participants to take an active role in exploring new educational solutions.

Moreover, a session of round tables, dedicated to various interdisciplinary issues in STEM teaching, is organised and its results are presented and discussed in the closing session of the conference. Last but not least, a session is organised to present teachers’ experiences and initiatives.

The conference is held on 23 and 24 November 2018 in Warsaw, Poland.
