By the end of the two-week course, participants will be able to:

  • Explore genome editing: deepen and expand their understanding of genome editing and CRISPR
  • Stay current: appreciate the applications and implications of genome editing in basic research, medicine and beyond
  • Teach genome editing: become familiar with a new non-laboratory, hands-on learning resource on the ethics of genome editing suitable for classroom use

The course is run by the European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences science education department and the EMBL-EBI Public Engagement team. The application deadline is 6 September. For more information, please click on the link.
