Great variations in instruction time across Europe

Science-related subjects get the smallest proportion of the instruction time in schools at secondary level, compared to other core subjects, in almost half of the European countries studied by Eurydice. Less than 10 per cent of the time is allocated to natural sciences on average at primary level.
